Unilever

• University degree from Plant Science, Agronomy, Food  Technology or other related fields
• Technical expert with minimum 3 years of experience on Research & Development - Product Development area; tea procurement, blending or quality assessment
• Understanding of tea procurement and category value chain
• Good awareness of Innovation Process and Project Management
• Excellent command of English

İŞ TANIMI

• Ensures developing of right skills and capabilities required to deliver ambitious growth Agenda in the region. Creates effective interface to Global Design Center and Global Brand Team
• Partner with Technical Project Leaders in designing and developing “winning blends” for all innovations/renovations as per Technical Project Briefs
• Generates “Product Logic” savings ideas that help the Cluster meet its Material Efficiency targets
• Ensures Unilever Sustainable Living Plan Delivery - Building Rainforest Alliance inclusion in new Blend Specs
• Be the credible “Go To” person on specialist product domain knowledge – be it Sustainable Sourcing, VIPs, Design v/s Delivered quality, ccpmus wrt taste, supply security,  complexity reduction, origin seasonality, blend fingerprints, competitor recipe shadow costs
• Carry out Quarterly “Technical” evaluation of “in-market” samples of Unilever & Competition, to build product understanding, shadow costing and consistency/variability of recipes
• Carry out monthly Technical Tea Evaluation for Sourcing Units, for Key Black/Green packs, ensuring that blend delivery matches blend design.  An independent “due diligence”, given that R&D owns product Functional Blend Certification
• Acts as first point of contact to Procurement and Procurement Operations in areas such as; 
  • Sourcing Raw Material for factory capability trials or Consumer Market Insight/Consumer Technical Insight sample production
  • Checking for Seasonality/Compliance/Regulatory of new feed stocks
  • Rainforest Alliance capacity checks (into Procurement) and value added item capacity checks (into Group Supply Chain)
• Is up-to-date with latest developments in the relevant area of expertise and inspires business teams with new ideas and opportunities
• Drives complexity reduction mindset in all activities
• Assesses and implements opportunities to use External Partnerships and Collaboration in their work (actively contributes to the shaping of Partner to Win plans on regional basis)
• Contributes to establishing the new Regional Development Center as an inspiring place to work, contributing to site culture and group / team building events
• Ensures the compliance of their work to the Unilever Code of Business Principles and all Safety/Health/Environment policies, including the support of product claims, risk management as well as environmental and regulatory awareness
