Storage and Backup Consultant

We are looking for a 'Storage and Backup Consultant' for our client who is a global IT Services Organisation with 150,000 employees over 60 countries. The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Extensive experience in installing, upgrading, and maintaining storage environment - should be well versed with SAN and NAS technologies
• Extensive experience in installing, upgrading, and maintaining Storage System Solution for Enterprise environment
• Working knowledge of Linux, UNIX and windows operating systems.
• Working experience in installing, configuring, and using HP Storage  Replication Manager (server and client)
• Hands-on experience on at least two vendor products on Storage  backup and archival
• Experience in Enterprise Backup Systems like Veritas Symantec NetBackup
• Experience in storage migration 
• Experience in BCV (Business Continuity Volume), Remote copy, Synchronous and asynchronous, data center fibre cables
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Good customer service and communication (oral and written) skills.  Ability to deliver professional engagement documentation.

İŞ TANIMI

• Being involved in designing the Storage, SAN, NAS solutions for small to enterprise customer environments including de-duplication etc which meets regulatory compliances.
• Reviewing all the Storage and Backup solutions prepared by Pre-sales practice team.
• Taking up storage and archival assessment engagement which involves detailed study to recommend the tactical and strategical solution to customer.
• Making solution presentations to customer
• Sizing of Enterprise Backup System, VTL, Tape library and defining the backup policies.( For any vendor product )
