QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications and skills;

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (or equivalent) preferred. Masters (or equivalent) preferred in a quantitative discipline
  • Fluent in English & Turkish (written and spoken)
  • 2+ years of commercial, strategy and/or research/analytics experience
  • Proven ability to act as a strategic consultant partnering with commercial clients. Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly and effectively communicate the business relevance of technical subject matter
  • Proven ability to connect, integrate and synthesize analysis and data to drive concrete strategic recommendations and enable commercial decision making. Capable of describing relevant caveats in data or in a model and how they relate to business question
  • Understands quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Experience in management of secondary data is a plus. Knowledgeable about study design and able to assess vendor technical capabilities
  • Previous demonstrated experience in monitoring, simulating and analyzing complex data sets
  • Internal Stakeholder management
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Expertise in the field of customer/omni-channel analytics is a plus
  • Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and deal with ambiguity
  • Strong team player, experienced with leading without authority in complex matrix environments
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex work in ways that are understood and actionable, to different types of audience
  • Experience with budget and resource allocation management


ROLE SUMMARY

The Customer Analytics Specialist will report to the Customer Analytics (CA) Lead and proactively partner with senior business leadership in Turkey to ensure delivery of high quality strategic business decision support.

This position will be responsible for analytics, data management and insight development. The person in this role will contribute to the development of and will execute upon the analytics and insights plan for Turkey. Additionally, he/she will leverage any appropriate adaptation of global strategies and/or tactics. This work will include performance measurement, KPI setting, short and long range forecast development, customer analytics, customer journey development, customer segmentation, customer data mining and market research, as needed, to uncover insights.

The Customer Analytics Specialist will be partner with the regional/global Customer Analytics colleagues as well as Pfizer Digital Centers of Excellence (CoEs), will help develop new best practices and will benefit from functional skill building and professional development as a member of this community.

The successful candidate will join CA colleagues worldwide that are constantly supporting business transformation through their proactive thought leadership, innovative analytical capabilities and their ability to communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways. 

 

This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Role definition and Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Market Analytics

  • Partner with stakeholders in Turkey to provide data driven strategic guidance. 
  • Define, recommend and implement business analytics plans that generate insights and influence business priorities and objectives.
  • Independently lead complex and significantly impactful customer/omni-channel analysis and consultation to proactively provide deep insights and recommendations that drive and maximize business opportunities, including advanced analytics segmentation, customer journey development, data mining, workshopping insights into actions, and promotional tactic and spend optimization.

Vendor Management

  • Develop, commission and contract complex and impactful projects through preferred vendors, including data and analytics work with offshore resources.
  • Be accountable for continuous improvement and identification/utilization of new capabilities to maximize the competitive advantages of the business.
  • Accountable for meeting compliance, CEP and Corporate SOP obligations of all Primary Market Research projects.
  • Manage budgets associated with assigned activities.
  • Responsible for managing the overall performance of preferred vendors for Turkey and coordinating with the Global team to assess supplier performance.
  • Alignment with other CA teams (CoE’s) to ensure cohesive activities with stakeholders
