Project Architect

We are looking for an experienced Project Architect for our Head Office in Ankara to support our Projects abroad.

Duties:

·       Review construction drawings issued by the designer, review shop drawings and as built drawings issued by subcontractors, ensure compliance to project requirements, 

·       Coordinate structural, architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings

·       Prepare shop drawings and as built drawings, prepare other drawings as necessary, draw architectural details for construction

·       Prepare list of architectural materials to be purchased, do the market search, ensure that materials are delivered; installed on time per the project schedule

·     Collect necessary documentation and prepare material and other relevant submittals for the approval of the Client, resolve any conflicts

·     Follow up progress of subcontractors and report to management, visit project sites to ensure the construction is in accordance with project requirements

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

·      Minimum 8 years relevant work experience

·      Proficiency with AutoCad and Office Programs

·       English proficiency, written and verbal communication.

·      Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications and scopes of work

·       Familiarity with a wide range of materials, submittals, shopdrawings, preparation of BOMs

·       Good knowledge of relevant procedures, international codes, and standards is a plus

·       Familiarity with International Projects is a plus 

·       Experience in OBO or USACE Projects is a plus
