QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualification:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in information technology, software engineering or electric/electronic engineering
- Experience of several years in the automotive industry and inter-connected electronic systems
- A distinctive experience in software development techniques and languages (e.g. C/C++, Matlab&Simulink)knowledge on vehicle electronics/-mechatronics and processes, methods and tools
- Good knowledge of English both written and spoken, German is an asset
- Good communication skills and customer orientation
- Ability to work in team and high motivation
- Willingness to travel.
Job Description:
- Software development to realize trouble-shooting, functional checks, activations and initial startup of the electric control units and vehicles for Daimler Buses worldwide
- Definition and support for the technical and conceptual design of the diagnostics in Daimler Buses
- Implementation of diagnostic software in new projects, adaptation of serial changes and correction of issues
- Preparation of the tools and test benches for the diagnostics
- Verification of the diagnostic data with simulation methods, on test benches and in vehicles
- Definition, determination and coordination of the requirements together with the international process partners.
