 What you’ll be responsible for: 

  •  Maintaining relationships with both suppliers’ and our Business Unit’s, managing their expectations and communicating commercial activities in line with department KPI’s
  •  Working with the Business Development Manager to help source new products and negotiate with suppliers 
  • Recognising potential business opportunities and making recommendations based on the Business Unit’s requirements and the current market. Working alongside the Business Development Manager to come up with proposals. 
  •  Assisting with daily enquiries about product/range sourcing, availability, exclusivity, pricing, MOQ (minimum order qty), logistics arrangements, product sampling, etc.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest retail/H&B industry developments and our competition, researching and staying abreast of the latest trends 
  • Working with the Hong Kong and local teams to deliver specific projects on time 

About you:

  • A University degree in business or similar discipline would be desirable.
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar Business Development role, ideally within a retail, Health & Beauty or FMCG company. 
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English. Any other European language will be an advantage. 
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You’re proactive, able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • You’re an excellent problem solver with great questioning and analytical skills, and a positive attitude.
  • You’re able to build relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels, with a positive and professional attitude and a high degree of cultural sensitivity
