General Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferably from Computer, Electronics Engineering or equivalent Information Technologies departments of universities
• 3 years of experience in similar positions
• Strong communication, coordination, planning, business follow-up skills, open to teamwork and continuous learning, disciplined, dynamic and solution-oriented
• Good diction, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in English at a level to follow technical publications and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Able to comply with Bank policies and procedures and Information Technology/Information Security standards such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO-27001
• Will be able to work under pressure and stress when necessary, in a very busy work environment
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
• No military obligation for male candidates

Job Function:

• Configuration, management and backup of all IBM AIX servers on which Core Banking Systems Production and Test environments run
• Configuration and management of all IBM Storage devices
• Configuration and management of Cisco and Brocade SAN Switch devices
• Administration of Temenos T24 Core Banking application, database management, program deployment, execution and management of batch-job operations
• Management of central backup system, monitoring of daily/weekly/monthly backup policies of all servers , applications, databases and file systems
• Detailed documentation of all managed systems and applications
• Continuous monitoring of the systems with products and resolution of the problems by making root cause analysis
• Providing first-level end-user support when needed
