General Accounting Specialist - Power Grids

We seek for young, ambitious “General Accounting Specialist” who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in ABB Power Grids in in Istanbul with below qualifications;

Your background

• University degree in related areas,
• Knowledge of Turkish Tax, Turkish Accounting Standard and USGAAP,
• 4-5 years of accounting and/or tax experience in a multinational company,
• Audit background will be preferable,
• Good knowledge in SAP FI module and Microsoft Office Applications,
• Good command of written and spoken English and Turkish,
• Ability to communicate effectively, having analytical thinking, result oriented,
• Completed military service for male applicants.

Your responsibilities

• Being part of R2R team and provides hands-on support for the teams of GL accounting,
• Reporting/systems, fixed assets, tax to provide quality of services to the global to support effective decision-making Handle Quarterly tax preparations for prepaid corporate tax return, make necessary bookings,
• Controlling&supporting day to day accounting activities in accordance with the chart of (Local GAAP & USGAAP),
• Follow month-end transactions, posting accruals and provision based on local GAAP& USGAAP,
• Collaboration with Hub based in Krakow on shared or divided scope of responsibilities,
• Working with Business controllers and the other stockholders to identify process improvement and efficiency opportunities,
• Being responsible for controlling& supporting inventory and cost accounting,
• Master data: Mapping profit center & cost center in SAP structure of reporting,
• Being responsible for Transactional taxes and giving strong support to General Tax Management,
• Managing VAT receivable collection processes with the necessity excel files & documentation,
• Preparation of tax legal declarations and responsible for the posting&payment transactions,
• Reporting to Finance FO Manager.
