Project Manager

We seek for 'Project Manager' who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in ABB Power Grids - Grid Automation, in Kartal/Istanbul location with below qualifications;

Your background

• University degree in Engineering,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Min 7-10 years of related work experience preferably in the power utilities industry
• Experience in managing complex OT projects in Substation Automation, Protection, Control Center projects
• Experience with projects of different size, complexity and contractual types,
• Working understanding of major engineering, procurement, and contracting, cost accounting, and budgeting,
• Understanding financial management of project budgets, actual reporting, forecasting
• PMP® certification from Project Management Institute or certified by other institutions would be a PLUS,
• Experienced use of Microsoft Office products preferred,
• Analytical mind with strong planning and self-learning skills, team work oriented,
• No restriction to travel.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.
• To manage complex projects in Grid Automation Portfolio
• To ensure that Grid Automation fulfils all its contractual obligations to the client in a professional, cost-effective and timely manner,
• To ensure that Grid Automation achieves (or improves on) the planned financial return from the project; within this objective, you should give the client value for money,
• Defines, jointly with the Project Controls department, all Project plan documents, including scope and financial plans,
• Schedule and risk management plans.
• To establish and maintain good working relationships with the client,
• To establish and ensure Grid Automation meets the client's expectations, and thereby to secure the client's satisfaction and enhance the ABB PG Grid Automation reputation,
• To fulfil ABB Grid Automation project reporting requirements .
