Shift Leader - Core Cutting Center

We seek for "Shift Leader '' who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in ABB Transformers in Core Cutting Center at Dilovası location with below qualifications;

Your background:

• Graduation from Vocational School of Higher Education, preferably of 2 years of Faculty or 4 years of Technical Education,
• At least 3 years of experience in production and Blue Collar management,
• Preferably experienced in transformer core production or metal processing processes,
• Being Occupational Safety and Quality focused,
• Having strong communication skills and human relations, being prone to teamwork,
• Having leadership skills,
• Having basic problem-solving skills,
• Completed military service for male candidates,
• Being suitable for 3-shift operations.

Your responsibilities:

• Assisting production manager,
• Allocating, coordinating and overseeing shift order and work plan execution within production lines during shifts,
• Providing regular feedback and recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including production line organization, shifting priorities and possible critical situations,
• Ensuring that operators have materials necessary to complete tasks,
• Assisting in training and cross-training of team members,
• Helping management implement staff movements in case of vacations, illnesses, machine outages or shifting priorities (this includes back-filling for team members),
• Serving as leader for shift and working to establish a collaborative environment and resolution of technical/quality problems and logistics issues,
• Reinforcing focus on volume, efficiency and on time delivery,
• Ensuring the shift operation is run in compliance with health & safety policies and guidelines.
