We are looking for a team member who will work for ACACIA Mining Operations as"Process Manager"

QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc or MSc degree in Mining Engineer, Mineral Processing Engineering or Metallurgi Engineer
• Minimum 15 years experience in mineral processing plants, at least 10 years managerial experience,
• Excellent command of both written & spoken English,
• Preferably experienced in metal mine projects and/or has experience of facility management in related projects,
• Advanced ability to organize, plan and analyze,
• Excellent communication & team leader skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ongoing improvement of Process operational systems, policies, procedures and strategies,
• Supervise the metallurgy team that the optimum recovery and grade values are met,
• Ensuring process plant operations team is controlling the plant performance within the set metallurgical and process criteria,
• Attend all required production and maintenance planning meetings.
• Recruitment and daily management of Process operational workforce,
• Optimize systems to ensure plant performance is monitored, tested and adjusted or modified to maximize Cu recoveries at minimum cost,
• Train the process operators and supervisors and enhance the experience of staff,
• Identify the problems within the process control and metallurgy and enhance these problems are solved,
• Contribute to the development of SOPs,
• Follow and supervise the key performance indicators, ensure the shift operation is enhanced,
• Identify and contribute to the plant improvement and modifications and offer suggestions,
• Supervise the regular site checks or attend as a team member,
• Contribute to the development of the Process budget and the set targets are met or exceeded,
• Investigate & implement measures to improve efficiencies and reduce Process costs,
• Implementation and management of Process operational consumables and spare parts inventory and policies,
• Ensure all materials and parts are used effectively,
• Preparing and presenting daily, weekly and monthly production reports to top management,
• Preparation of production and cost budgets.
