QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a People (HR) Specialist to support the employees of ADAMA Turkey.  This challenging role focuses on providing professional operational support to our employees across the stages of the employment life cycle and specifically in the following key areas: Recruitment, Workforce Planning and Labor Cost Data Management, as well as Employee Development and Engagement.  

The ideal candidate will be a service-oriented person who naturally connects with others and builds trust with people at all levels.  This role requires perseverance, confidence and creative problem solving.  These “soft skills” will ideally be combined with someone who is analytical, organized and execution oriented with the ability to simply Get Things Done.

 

Here's some more detail of what you'll be working on.

Recruitment:

  • Support recruitment processes from end-to-end
  • Draft job descriptions and manage internal and external job postings
  • Work with external recruiters and agencies to find top talent
  • Filter CVs and identify leading candidates. Organize and complete first interviews for short list.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline, ensuring candidates are kept up to date during the process
  • Complete new hire process and employment onboarding
  • Support the drafting of Onboarding Plans, making sure Managers create meaningful plans and following up on their execution, ensuring all new hires complete their onboarding process

Workplan, Labor Cost and Employee Information:

  • Monitor and track monthly labor cost including headcount and labor cost changes
  • Support Workforce Plan preparation of employee and contractor headcount and cost
  • Maintain employee data in SuccessFactors, update employee data based on role and business changes, ensure data accuracy. Manage and control needs of holidays and overtimes of employees.
  • Prepare systems and data for global processes such as Performance Management, Engagement Survey, etc. to ensure data is fully accurate and up to date; coordinate it with section managers
  • Align data in SuccessFactors with local payroll companies
  • Maintain accurate and complete employee files

Professional Development and Engagement:

  • Maintain, monitor, and follow up on Individual Development Plans for each employee
  • Identify individual training needs through employee conversations and mapping those needs to appropriate training opportunities; conduct employee engagement surveys
  • Promote use of digital learning platforms
  • Support HQ teams by coordinating knowledge sharing sessions between functions; coordinate strong relationship and commination between departments
  • Follow up on delivery of engagement action plans

 

 

Administration:

 

  • Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
  • Support company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff.
  • Provide historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
  • Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends.
  • Maintain office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

 

Special Projects:

  • Provide logistical support for conferences, meetings and employee trainings
  • Manage training program with third parties and organize all needs of those internal and/ or external trainings.
  • Other projects that may come up like supporting organizational changes, organizational mapping processes, benchmarking activities, etc.
  • To follow the legislation on occupational safety and worker health, to make the necessary applications and controls to the official authorities, to take care to provide the most suitable working environment for the employees. To organize trainings on this subject and to encourage exemplary studies in preventing occupational accidents.

 

Assist Country CEO:

  • Manage professional and personal scheduling for CEO, including agendas, mail, email, calls, travel arrangements, client management, prepare expense report and other company logistics
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, as well as management of content and flow of information to senior executives
  • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business
  • Organize team communications and plan events, both internally and offsite

 

Skills, Education and Experience

  • Excel and PowerPoint (Office programs)
  • Fluent English and Turkish
  • Prefer experience with SuccessFactors a +
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
  • 2-4 years of experience as human resources professional
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HR modules and applications
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • Male candidates should not be bound by military service
