We are looking for a “Component Engineer'' for our multinational client operating in Renewable Energy sector with the qualifications below;

Role Purpose:

Integration and development for motors and sensors and their related equipment in wind industry. Close co-operation with procurement or the function owner in Mechanical or Integration (Thermal, Hydraulic,...)

Continuous improvement. Calculation and simulations related to performance, thermal aspects, expected life, specifying and analyzing tests

Job Description:

Supporting procurement approving second source vendors

Development of projects related to 60Hz projects

Project reporting: design reports, trade-off reports,...

Development of calculation tools related with motors

Support of design activities regarding wind turbines

Technical Knowledge and Experience:

·         Electrical Engineering

-          Electrical Machines. High knowledge in motors and their applications -Motor integration and testing -Owner and expert of electrical supporting sensors used by mechanical and integration.

·         Motors:

-          Documentation, Specification- Second source support to procurement -Approval -Tests-Reliability -Efficiency -Standards -Protections -Mechanical issues (installation, vibrations, noise...)

·         Electrical Sensors:

-          Documentation, Speciation -Second source support to procurement -Approval -Tests -Mechanical issues (installation, vibrations, noise...)

Knowledge, Experience and Capabilities:

B.Sc or M.Sc in electrical engineering,

Minimum electrical experience with industrial components: 2-5 years,

Proficiency in MS Office applications,

Advanced level in English, writing and speaking. Spanish or Danish is a plus,
