We are looking for a "Import/Export Manager" with the following qualifications for our customer.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

• Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university.
• Min. 10 years experience in import/export operations
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Thorough knowledge on Turkish export and import legislation, import and export documentation, procedures and customs regulations
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills and ability
• Self disciplined & ability to work to tight deadlines
• Very good communication skills and result-oriented
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Completed military service for male candidates

Job Description

• Following up import and export documentation, ensure timely receiving and delivering the paperwork, and provide accurate documentation to relevant parties.
• Extensive communication by e-mail, telephone with internal and external parties (customers, suppliers etc.) is necessary.
• Tracking and tracing shipment dates while maintaining accurate and timely work
• Monitoring the dispatch, shipment and delivery of all materials, organising the supply chain
• Negotiating with suppliers and forwarders all around the world
• Coordinating international transport with the approved transport companies.
• Scheduling direct and supervise the scheduling of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure efficient resource utilization and achievement of customer service goals.
• Coordinating responsible for return process of defective materials and the materials that are not in conformity with the required specifications, ensuring that replacement material is procured on time.
