adesso Turkey is looking for a “Scrum Master” to join our team for local projects.

• 5+ years of Project Management Experience in mid- and large-sized IT Projects (250K to 1+ M $ Budget)

• 5+ years of experience in Agile methodologies, thorough knowledge of Scrum / KanBan is a must

• Detail-oriented, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities between several projects

• Excellent communication, mentoring and motivating skills

• Experience managing and leading software development teams up between 5 up to 12 team members

• Strong facilitation and problem solving skills, ability to manage customer priorities along with stakeholder interests and advice clients on possible solutions and outcomes about project issues and risks.

• Ability to communicate effectively with client’s C-Level and Executives, managing and escalating project risks to reach project goals.

• Ability to enhance the performance of individuals and teams through setting challenging performance standards, providing constructive feedback on performance and collaboratively discussing improvement strategies

• Ability to gain other people’s buy in to a course of action by communicating ideas with conviction, selling the benefits of the proposal and using compelling logic

Major Tasks

• Ensures correct adoption and application of Agile practices in the project and make adjustments as necessary.

• Analyzing clients’ needs in order to write analysis, specifications and project plan.

• Manages the project with Agile Scrum methodology and through its best practices like the sprint ceremonies, daily monitoring / reviewing and building tangible deliverables in each sprint

• Supports Product Owner with product backlog generation and transforms all customer requirements into a roadmap.

• Practices continuous improvement on the scrum processes, all kind of work flows, communication paths and methodologies.

• Understands clients business needs and direction and supports Product Owner and other key stakeholders to steer sprint and project towards these goals.

• Organizes and moderates sprint planning sessions and supports the project team to decompose the stories into technical tasks.

• Extracts all sprint content using project management and collaboration tools, like JIRA and Confluence and monitors the progress throughout the sprints.

• Facilitates and chairs also other sprint ceremonies like Review, Retrospective and daily scrums.

• Tracks project risks closely and obtains regular feedbacks from related parties, defines and assigns preventive actions, adjust the backlog with risk response strategies/actions

• Ensures quick resolution and communication of all issues, risks and action items.
