Material Planning Engineer

ADIENT TURKEY SEATING OTOMOTIV LIMITED ŞİRKETİ

We are seeking a “Material Planning Engineer” for our production facility in Turkey to supply a leading global automotive OEM.

• University degree in Engineering from reputable universities
• 2- 3 years experience in supply and logistics management in Automotive Industry 
• Minimum 2 years experience in SAP MM and MRP
• Be able to work under strict deadlines and in flexible hours
• Results oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Completed military service for male candidates
• Living in or willing to relocate to Gebze, İstanbul Asian Side or İzmit

  

JOB DESCRİPTİON

• Deal with supply of parts and suppliers in order to sustain production and shipping without any interruption
• Ensure to have updated information of supplier orders on SAP system
• Analyse MRP results to provide material flow in accordance with JIT concept
• Organize milk-run transports between suppliers and Adient
• Manage transportation of recycling packaging boxes between suppliers and Adient
• Create item codes, scheduled receipts or purchase orders on SAP system and revise them regularly
• Ensure to keep invertory quantities for supply parts in targeted levels
• Release reports regularly about inventory, supplier performances...etc.
