We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who is going to be a part of our Quality Assurance Team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Food Engineering departments
• 2+ years business experience in a global organization in Quality department.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Excellent use of windows applications, knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Strong written and spoken communication skills, Ability to communicate with a wide range of people—up, down and across the organization
• Strong problem solving ability, flexible with a team orientated environment
• Self-motivated, high on achievement; result-oriented, able to work under pressure, self starter
• Good analytical skills
• Problem solving and customer oriented
• Living in Adana or willing to live.
• Military service must be completed for male candidates,

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts training activities related to quality and food safety and ensure that all relevant persons are trained.
• Take active roles in the Food safety and quality management systems and support the QA Manager .
• Keep that the procedures are followed and have an effective QMS system in place.
• Keep the management informed for the needed improvements needed for the existing QMS.
• Take active role for in the internal / external audits and follow up the findings of the audits.
• Work together with the Lab manager to ensure that the QA procedure and methods are followed and in place.
• Take active role for the Root Cause analyses and being used in the company in wider range and is effective.
• Take active role investing the customer complaints and be in contact with the relevant departments to define the correct root cause and have effective corrective actions in place and follow.
• Be proactive to prevent the repeating Non Conformances.
• Be in contact and work with the production – technical team to solve issues.
• Take active role during certification audits, customer audits and be the back-up of the QA manager in her/his  absence.
• Be active for the existing QMS and find rooms for improvements and keep it active and effective. Follow the new revisions and ensure that the new requirements are implemented.
• Take active roles for plant and lab safety discussions and guide the technicians where it is needed..
• Work together with related departments that the CCP are effectively followed, verified and validated. Pre-requisite program are effectively followed.
• Ensure that the Food Safety Near Misses are reported and root causes are defined..
• Be the back of Lab manager in his/her absence
• Ensure that the Food Defense program are effective and in place and work with the team for further improvement.
• Manages and updates the HACCP program and works closely and ensure that all regulations are properly followed.
• To increase the awareness on Food/ Feed Safety and quality by organizing trainings and talking to the team in the field.
• Take the responsibility for the Non-GM, Halal and Kosher Certification and be in contact with the procurement team to keep the documents up to date.
• Work with the Divisional QA and adapt the Global procedure to the local plant.
• To be in contact with other departments and having feedback to improve the QMS
• Follow the PMS and check steps for further improvement.
