We are one of the AGRANA Fruit Companies, producing and marketing fruit preparations for dairy, ice cream, bakery and food service sectors. We are looking for a team member for our plant in Altınova/Yalova with qualifications as below:

Qualifications : 

·       University degree in a reputable University preferably in Food Engineering, Agriculture Engineering

·       Having good knowledge and experienced in quality assurance systems (ISO 22000 , FSSC ,OHSAS etc)

·       Excellent command of both written and spoken English

·       Minimum 4 year experience in Quality department in food industry will be an asset (quality management and/or agronomy at IQF sector is preferable)

·       Proficient in the use of MS Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and SAP knowledge will be an asset

·       Analytical, organizational and time management skills

·       Positive, self - motivated, proactive, team player, dynamic

·       Maintaining emotional stability under difficult circumstances and high pressure

·       Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish relationships both internally and externally

·       Ability to take the initiative

·       Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities

·       Attention to detail

·       No restriction for travelling

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Experience with FMEA, Process Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions

·       Live/Willing to live in or close to Karamürsel, Yalova

•  Job Description : 
  
• ·       Implement, update and monitor instructions and methods for quality control and quality assurance in cooperation with the Quality Manager in order to meet internal and external quality specifications, customer requirements and legal regulations.
  

•  ·       Develop specification for raw materials in coordination with the Supply Chain based on national and European standards as well as standards of the group quality management. Put pressure on suppliers to provide raw materials with the requested analysis results and conforming to the specifications.
• ·       Responsible for handling of customers’ complaints/requests, analyzing of reasons, and prepare answers and action plan for the customers for all quality related issues.
• ·       Implement standards and guidelines concerning good hygienic practices, control the implementation of the standards and guidelines etc.
• ·       Organize and execute the quality audits of all departments of the plant. Analyzing audit results and ensure implementation of measures in case of deviations of the standards.
• ·       Coordination and realization of supplier audits together with Quality Manager. To evaluate audit results, define supplier specific development needs, and prepare supplier development master plan including root cause analysis corrective actions
• ·       Responsible for daily operation in terms of Quality Assurance related issues
• ·       Maintain regular QA activity to ensure food safety and quality standard are achieved.
• ·       Follow-up of KPI’s and improvement of the processes.
• ·       Prepare timely internal and external reports on AGRANA Group level.
• ·       Select, develop, manage, and ensure defect-free performance of the business' supplier base with the objective of overall quality improvement.
• ·       Monitor performance of new and existing suppliers to ensure suppliers meet specifications and deliver according to AGRANA specifications
• ·       Establish supplier specific business and production processes development projects, coordinate and lead projects
• ·       Implement tools for supplier fulfillment monitoring
• ·       Capable of preparation and presentation of training programs for colleagues and suppliers,  as necessities of the continuous quality improvement.
• ·       Ensures suppliers use quality tools effectively
• ·       Make outsource feasibility studies to trigger make or buying decisions
• ·       Establish cost structure of suppliers for purchasing department
• ·       Support in improving the existing supplier base, support developing new strategic suppliers
• ·       Process management in general at supplier side (receive, transformation, packing, warehousing, dispatch and transport)
• ·       Willingness to travel to develop suppliers and to support colleagues wherever needed

The Quality Specialist will be reporting to Quality Manager.
