Local Purchasing Specialist

We are looking for a "Local Purchasing Specialist" to be a member of our Supply Chain Department.

Local Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for;

·         Interfaces with planning and demand responsible to plan and prioritize purchasing activities.
·         Responsible for appropriate supplier selection/bidding processes for selected purchase requests, and supplier and contract pricing validation for all purchase requests under category management responsibility in accordance with company policy.

·         Transmits and prioritizes approved purchase orders and supporting documents to supplier
·         Tracks order acknowledgement, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provides visibility of potential interruptions to planning

·         Tracks orders and confirms system lead times, delivery dates, and costs

·         Interact with finance and logistics staff in resolving reception and payments, invoice discrepancies

·         Identifies opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies

Qualifications;

·         Minimum 4 year Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management or equivalent;

·         Min.3 years experience of procurement 

·         Excellent command of written and spoken English

·         Good knowledge of MS office programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point and Netsis as ERP System

·         Strong communication skills and team worker

·         Analytical thinking , result oriented , enthusiastic, positive and energetic, creative, eager to learn continuously

·         Experience in online purchasing

·         Male candidates must have completed the military service
