JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a SR. DevOps Engineer to join the newly established CI/CD team. The team is focused on centralized, modernized CI / CD environment being migrated to the cloud and automating integrations of all solution development processes. The role involves automating, improving, and maintaining a multi-platform software development environment which consists of custom and commercial tools. As our SR. DevOps Engineer in CI/CD Team, you’ll interface with different R&D teams to lead efforts to improve and streamline the tool infrastructure and processes to maximize software development and release efficiency by collecting and monitoring performance and operational metrics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with R&D teams currently working on different platforms to deploy and manage tools that support SDLC automation, configuration management, and release management, analysing and reporting the KPI’s of the whole R&D processes starting from ideation to
• Ensure to have optimized and our CI/CD infrastructure considering our solution teams’ needs, pricing, scalability, and developer experience by developing and monitoring metrics 
• Ensure to continuously improve our security by leveraging best practices and tools available in the cloud such as logging, network controls, firewalls, access controls
• Simplify remote working scenarios
• Build/Maintain a build and release management platform focused reproducibility, traceability, scalability and parallelism
• Ensure automation and identify ways for improvement
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, able to articulate trends and potential clearly and Confidently

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• MS/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Min. 5 years of relevant software/infrastructure development and operations experience with building and managing release systems, CI/CD workflows and tools 
• Min. 3 years of experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Load Balancers, Lambda, etc.
• Min. 2 years of experience with scripting language, coupled with related automation projects, at least one or more of the following: Bash or Python
• Experience developing and administering CI/CD workflows and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, GitLab, GitHub, etc.
•  Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using tools such as Terraform
•  Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, and container management technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology
• AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro is a plus
• Experience with building tools such as Makefile, Gradle, etc. is a plus
• Disciplined and communicative in remote environments
• Results driven with strong commitment to complete tasks
• Excellent problem analysis and solving skills
• Outstanding reporting and presenting skills 
• Team-oriented, self-motivated and highly ambitious
