QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum university degree (engineering preferred)
  • At least 5 years of project management experience
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Experience at a multinational company or within an international context is preferred
  • PMP certificate is a plus
  • Strong leadership abilities; ability to lead others and work in a team environment
  • Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited reaction time exists
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic multi-project environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation and conflict management skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage R&D platform (HW & SW) projects according to budget requirements, on time per schedule and per project requirements.
  • Get project stakeholders sign off PRD document
  • Work with project stakeholders; generate and maintain project schedule/plan with key milestones, within constraints such as time, cost, and agreed quality standards
  • Responsible for execution and completion of the project per schedule and PRD on a day to day basis according to the AirTies Product Lifecycle process
  • Schedule tasks, deadlines, and milestones for all stakeholders and resources providing detailed milestones for all parties. Get commitment from each individual on assigned tasks and milestones
  • Conduct weekly project meetings, collect project status from Project team members. Ensure milestones are delivered per project plan. Maintain/Update the project plan and action items based on the progress. Facilitate consensus decision-making among stakeholders
  • Efficiently and competently manage problem resolution, e.g. scope changes, changed requirements, missed deadlines, etc.
  • Perform risk management; formulate action plans, mitigate risks to minimize schedule delays and costs
  • Report to engineering management on project’s progress, escalate any critical issues immediately
  • Attend executive project review meetings and report progress
  • Ensure Product Management’s expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality of product and service delivered
  • Ensure all appropriate project documentation is completed and stored
  • Conduct post-mortem meeting on completed project. Report on total project cost
  • Provide feedback to team managers on project member performance during the project
  • Apply for government project funding, if neemed applicable
