JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a newly established team focused on centralized, modernized CI / CD toolchain environment migrated  to the Cloud and automating integrations of all solution development processes. The role involves automating, improving, and maintaining a multi-platform software development environment which consists of custom and commercial tools. As our Senior Software Engineer in Software Tooling Team, you’ll interface with different R&D teams to lead efforts to improve and streamline the tool infrastructure and processes to maximize software development and release efficiency by collecting and monitoring performance and operational metrics.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• MS/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Min. 5 years of relevant software/infrastructure development and operations experience with building and managing release systems, CI/CD workflows and tools
• Min. 2 years of experience with scripting language, coupled with related automation projects, at least one or more of the following: Bash, Python, NodeJS, Ruby, or PHP
• Experience developing and administering CI/CD workflows and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, CodeCommit (AWS), GitHub, Bamboo, TeamCity, GitLab
• Familiar with AWS - experience
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using the tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Salt
• Experience with Linux & Windows infrastructures, database SQL & NoSQL, CI/CD tools, Configuration Management
• Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, and container management technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices
• Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks Logstash, Elasticsearch, and Kibana
• Hands on experience with installing, configuring, and administering DevOps tools and technologies such as Confluence, JIRA, Jenkins, Artifactory is a plus
• AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro is a plus
• Experience implementing and designing cloud native security concepts, DevSecOps, or MLOps is a plus
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau is a plus
• Disciplined and communicative in remote environments
• Results driven with strong commitment to complete tasks
• Excellent problem analysis and solving skills
• Team-oriented, self-motivated and highly ambitious

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with R&D teams currently working on different platforms to deploy and manage tools that support SDLC automation, configuration management, and release management, analyzing and reporting the KPI’s of the whole R&D processes starting from ideation to 
• Ensure we have optimized and our CI/CD infrastructure considering our solution teams’ needs, pricing, scalability, and developer experience by developing and monitoring metrics
• Ensure we continuously improve our security by leveraging best practices and tools available in the cloud such as Logging, network controls, firewalls, access controls
• Simplify remote working scenarios
• Build/Maintain a build and release management platform focused reproducibility, traceability, scalability and parallelism
• Ensure automation and identify ways for improvement
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
