Software Engineer - Core Development

Required 

• BSc in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent 
• Proficiency in C programming 
• Good understanding of embedded Linux system internals, cross-compilation environments, device driver development, and performance tuning  
• Hands on experience with firmware debugging using a full range of test equipment, especially with Linux soft tools 
• Good understanding of IP networking concepts and basic understanding of  Linux network stack
• Familiarity with source control bug tracking tools (Git, Jira, etc...)  
• Highly desired and has the ability to lead as well as work individually 

Nice to have 

• 4+ years of experience 
• Fluent in English
• Good understanding of computer architectures and real-time programming concepts  
• Experience with IP networking, bridging and routing, 802.3, 802.11 
• Acquaintance with open source tools, philosophy, and community

İŞ TANIMI

Core software development teams grow Wi-Fi Access Pointsoftware bringing up AirTies Wi-Fi products to life and develop new features for the core access point platforms.The role requires awareness of Linux kernel and driver model, as well as an eagerness to bring up embedded Linux platforms and implement and performance tune of wireless & ethernet device drivers. It is an exciting opportunity to work on various topics around Linux kernel and networking subsystems while working in a first-class team that masters 802.11 wireless standards, IP Networking, bridging and routing, 802.15.5 and 802.3.

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, maintain and improve embedded software implementation forAirTies Mesh, Client Steering, AirTouch, Cloud View, Video Streaming, Interference Avoidance and a set of patented technologies ofAirTies for Wi-Fi customer-premises equipment 
• Improve and build out  core software platform and architectures to support multiple hardware platforms 
• Port legacy software platform to next-generation SOC/hardware platforms
