QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Required- BSc+ in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- 2 or more years of professional experience
- Proficiency in C programming
- Fluent in spoken and written English language is a must. (Demonstration of English language skills will be required during the interview.) French language is a plus
- Knowledge of Layer 2 networking fundamentals especially wireless networks
- Hands on experience with Unix system fundamentals and Linux ecosystem to bring up solutions and troubleshoot system level issues
- Understanding of code branching/merging strategies and build release management
- Ability to work under time constraints with verbal & written instructions of varying levels of detail and changing requirements
- Reliability as well as solution-oriented and goal-oriented operation
Nice to Have- Good understanding of embedded Linux system internals, cross-compilation environments and performance tuning
- Experience on BSP and device driver development
- Solid understanding of Linux networking internals
- IEEE 802.3, 802.11 experience
- Hands on experience with system level debugging using a full range of test equipment, especially with Linux soft tools
- Acquaintance with open source tools, philosophy and communit
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams

JOB DESCRIPTIONAirTies Software Services Team members work closely with largest Internet Service Provider clients of AirTies in Europe, focusing on adapting, integrating and maintaining of the AirTies core wireless software on client’s devices and platforms.
This role requires hands on experience with build, integration and debugging of embedded linux and open source repositories as well as eagerness to work closely with the client’s technical personnel to understand and gather requirements, adapt AirTies products to meet those requirements, integrate AirTies software and technologies with client’s platforms and devices, and help resolve issues found in the lab and production. It is an exciting opportunity to work on Linux based networking products and have a direct impact on deployment of AirTies wireless products to users throughout the continent.
Key Responsibilities- Adapting core software assets to integrate them on client platforms and devices
- Maintenance activities, debugging problems found in the field or development cycles (end user problems reported by customers, problems found by AirTies testing team)
- Interface with the AirTies customer team personnel to understand client requirements and work with core engineering team as necessary to implement the requirements
- Travel as necessary to customer site for troubleshooting activities
