R&D Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering,
• Preferably minimum two years experience in dairy industry,
• Proficiency in English language (both written and verbal),
• Good systematic and analytical thinking skills to collect, analyze and interpret data,
• Strong planning, communication, follow-up and project management skills,
• Effective communication skills with all levels of an organization,
• Good command of MS Office applications,
• Knowledge of Turkish Food Codex,
• Knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP is an asset),
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• No restrictions for travelling both domestic and international,
• Residing or willing to live in Sakarya.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Founded in 1996, Ak Gıda having 6 plants and over 2500 employees offers its consumers healthy and tasty milk and dairy products.

In 2015, Groupe Lactalis, the leader of the global dairy market, incorporated Ak Gıda into its organization which has the brands President, Galbani and Parmalat. The brand İçim is the 3rd biggest brand of Groupe Lactalis in Europe.

 We are currently looking for a R&D Engineer (Sakarya) reporting to R&D Manager join our rapidly-expanding Turkish enterprise.

•  Generates ideas by investigating  new and alternative materials, processes, equipments,
• Applies required tests for new products and to develop new formulations when improvement is needed,
• Communicated required data for approved recipes to SAP responsible,
• Performs trials at laboratory and industrial scale,
• Prepares process report following the first installation / implementation of new processes,
•  Establishes production recipes and procedures/instructions by defining control parameters with co-operation of Quality Assurance and Production departments,
• Follows cost saving activities.
