Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in procurement preferably in Cement Sector
• Have an experience in subcontractor management & contracts
• Have experience in team management
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Outstanding computer skills (MS Office)
• No restriction to travel domestic and abroad
• Knowledge of SAP, preferably experienced in MM modüle
• Strategic thinking, problem solving, planning and coordination abilities
• Ability to work independently, as well as in cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment.
• High social communication and persuasion skills dealing with other team members, internal customers, suppliers and clients
• Time and result oriented
• Having ideas and experience on purchasing strategies
• Able to perform potential supplier and market analyzes
• B Class dirving license
• Strong negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Carry out the activities in Plants and Terminals of our company within the Procurement Strategies
• Manage the procurement processes of
• services in Cement & RMC business lines
• Following subcontractor regulations and making necessary updates
• To appoint relevant persons for the processes that need to involve different disciplines and to lead process based teams
• managing current contracts and updating necessary price changes on time
• efficient management of the purchasing process from request to payment with sufficient technical / commercial conditions
• Provide the systematic identification of alternative and new sources of supply
• Manage the procurement procedure of all kinds of services from domestic and abroad in accordance with the departmant’s objectives.
• Guide the related procurement team and ensure them meet their duties and responsibilities in efficient and high quality
• Prepare the budget work and the related reports for the activities under responsibility
