Production Executive

We are now looking for a Production Executive who has the following qualifications to work in our Production Department in our factory operating in Hendek / Sakarya. This position reports to Production Manager in the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy and Material Engineering
• At least 7 years experience in production or chemical sector, preferably in international companies
• Excellent command of English
• Strong command of office programs 
• Excellent crisis management and emotional resilience skills
• Team-oriented, strong target and resource management skills
• Improved problem solving skills, result-oriented
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Resident or able to reside in Sakarya

Job Description

• To ensure that all members of the production team are aware of occupational health, safety, environmental and sanitation policies to ensure a safe workplace,
• To know the job sequence, human resources, working hours and work safety rules defined by the production manager and preparing the sequential schedule accordingly,
• To determine the target start and end time and employees of the production activity for each shift and with the backward scheduling method so that the daily planned productions can be produced on time according to the target delivery date and forwarding to the relevant unit manager,
• To make forward scheduling of urgent and unplanned production demands and to forward them to the relevant unit manager,
• To make trial productions in new product commissioning studies and to support R&D and quality teams,
• To encourage the suggestion system to direct all production department employees, including the operators, to the necessity of having ideas about the diagnosis and solution of the problem in order to make improvements with the principle of "the problem exists in every process",
• To support the preparation of emergency plans, to keep records of incidents, near misses and accidents, to ensure that measures are taken by conducting research and root cause analysis,
• To support the cost and profitability analysis of the production processes carried out within Akcoat and its affiliated business units,
• To ensure that raw material usage, production amount, start-end, stop times, waste and process record entries are entered into the system correctly, and ERP reports are accurate and up-to-date,
• To ensure the standardization of production processes and improvement of production methods,
• To make process development studies that simplify work, improve occupational safety, increase quality and efficiency with ergonomic arrangements that will ensure human-machine-method harmony in the production process,
• To prepare weekly, monthly reports,
• To organize all team trainings and make back up plans,
• To make 5S studies,
• To analyze all break downs and improve cause and effects,
