Our company seeks a Generation Performance Analysis Specialist to work in Power Generation Department. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical Electronic,Industry and Energy Systems Engineering,

• Preferably have at least 2 year of experience in electricity or gas trading departments (internship/s in Energy Firms are also accepted),

• High attention to detail an ability to work under tight deadlines,

• Good command of MS Office programs,

• Good command of both verbal and written English,

• Strong analytical skills, time management and problem solving abilities,

• Good interpersonal skills and a team player,

• Keep up with flexible working hours.

JOB DESCRİPTİON

• Using Oracle database & Discoverer software to enable follow-up of plants' production, gas consumption, performance, dam level, water flow, wind speed, etc, thus providing ease of access to data within departments for analysis and reporting purposes,

• Analysing of data to measure and improve plant performance, calculate unit costs, profit/loss, efficiency,

• Critical Role in preparing and following-up  plant’s budget using Cognos, preparing numerical targets, to share them with the relevant plants  and to follow the development by guiding the necessary actions,

• Creating and reporting daily and monthly activity reports, follow-up of the incidents which occur in plants and giving feedback,

• Evaluation of plant performance monthly and annually,

• Preparing production and performance information in each quarter and sharing to related departments,

• Determination, coordination and monitoring of KPIs belonging to all power plants,

• To support process development and improvement projects in production performance analysis,

• Recording of production-consumption and other information of power plants.
