Responsibilities

• Define 3rd party applications strategy for legacy systems to ensure an integrated agile approach is taken for the long-term development and support.
• Manage service delivery of system updates (releases) by tracking changes, testing and follow ups from our outsourced vendor partners in an operations environment.
• Support the roll out of releases by coordinating and communicating with business teams and vendors.
• Plan and make provisions for onboarding new applications from project delivery into operational support.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, domain owners and third-party application support teams to ensure delivery of the features a high level of quality
• Capable of managing, supporting, and acting as the IT business lead for key 3rd party business applications as required.
• Work with key business stakeholders on agreeing, prioritising and managing business developments and requirements.
• Provide technical knowledge of business application architecture and impact on local and hosted environments.
• Define and communicate quality standards and parameters to the QA team, PMO and other related domains.
• Ensure that all new functionality is tested whilst ensuring adherence to central IT standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematic Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 3 years experience with managing and supporting business applications (preferably in insurance or finance sectors)
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of agile delivery techniques
• Demonstrate experience in business and 3rd party stakeholder management
• Understanding of ITIL and/or COBIT, preferably with relevant certifications
• Understanding of common technology components
• Demonstrated skills in negotiations and problem-solving
• Result and solution oriented
