To be assigned in our “Purchasing Engineer” activities to take part of our company;

Requirements & Responsibilities

• BS or MS degree from, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing and importing,
• Excellent command of written and verbal English,
• Able to use any MRP/ERP program (Preferably SAP),
• Conducting overseas and domestic supplier research, collecting information; negotiating with suppliers, obtaining prices, evaluating, initiating sample work, creating purchasing conditions for approved samples,
• Carrying out supplier audit, evaluation and development studies,
• Making and updating purchasing contracts,
• To understand and interpret the declared product specifications required for production activities,
• Purchasing materials with desired quality and specifications, and with the optimal cost from confirmed suppliers within the given time,
• To follow up the developments in the markets related to his own supply market,
• Searcing for alternative suppliers,
• Conducting benchmark analysis for materials,
• Managing and improving relationships with the existing suppliers,
• Conducting cost cutting projects in order to lower total purchasing cost,
• Analyzing orders to interprete variabilities.

• Able to take responsibility, high organizational and planning skills,
• Strong communication skills,
• Proficiency with purchasing strategies,
• Ability to make analytical inquiries, problem-solving oriented,
• No Domestic-International travel restrictions,
• Military obligation must be completed (for male candidates),
• Residing / able to reside in Bursa,
• Competent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Programmes.
