AkzoNobel is searching for a “Manufacturing Engineer” who will play an important role within the organization.
(The position is based in Gaziemir, İzmir)

Qualifications:

• University degre in chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering departments from a reputable university
• +3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in an international company
• Experience in Lean manufacturing methodologies (5S, SPC, VSM, Root Cause Analysis, SMED, Kaizen, etc.)
• Experience in Digitalization technologies and Automation projects are assets
• Advanced level of usage on MS Office applications (especially Excel)
• High level of negotiation, inter-personal and communication skills
• Advanced level of analytical thinking skills and follow up
• Advanced level of English (both written and spoken)
• No military obligation for male candidates

Job Description:

• Follow up, evaluation and tracking of production data & losses in work orders
• Management of improvement projects including performance and equipment efficiency studies, determination and implementation of optimum process parameters and reporting
• Reporting on potential production problems and contribution to problem solving
• Following up digitalization projects and contribute as necessary
• Defining, planning and executing new way of digital solutions in production area
• Coaching and training of leaders and operators on automation studies
