Production Planning Engineer

ALCAM is looking to add a production planner to our growing staff. ALCAM manufactures architectural glass products for construction industry. The successfull candidate will be working with various areas and levels of company in order to establish a reliable production planning system.

Key Job Responsibilities include the following,

* Responsible for translating the demand into a coherent production plan that delivers on time

* Lead the implementation of new planning process, ensuring these are embedded within the organisation with the support of the line directors

* Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists and fix challenges with a variety of glass combinations that we manufacture

*  ensure that the production schedule is cost effective

Job Requirements,

* Proven strategic planning skills with ability to create and direct major change initiative 

* Knowledge of manufacturing terminology and protocol

* Excellent command of verbal and written English

* Advance level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

* Abilitiy to travel when required
