QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
AlgaEnergy Biyoteknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi ( ABIT ) started its operations in Turkey in 2019 as a subsidiary of AlgaEnergy S.A., a biotechnology company headquartered in Spain. AlgaEnergy S.A. uses advanced technology and production processes to produce high-quality microalgae-based products for the agriculture, aquaculture, nutrition, and cosmetics industries. AlgaEnergy is building a strong international presence as well as global licensing and product development activities, to deliver innovative biological solutions for agriculture throughout the world.
As its main line of activity, ABIT has made significant progress in the agricultural sector since its establishment. ABIT would like to employ a full time Marketing Executive, based in Istanbul, Turkey, for its growing organization in the Turkey Region with the main job responsibilities as defined below:
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and track marketing programs for ABIT business, such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events,
- Manage marketing portfolio and product portfolio materials for the Agribusiness unit,
- Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives,
- Organize, support and coordinate local events,
- Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns,
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities,
- Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met,
- Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums,
- Liaise with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs,
- Update and maintain ABIT website, feeding it with relevant news, updates and results,
Skills and/or personal qualities:
- Advanced English level is essential, written and spoken,
- Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods,
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) desired Analytics, and content management systems (preferred)
- Analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
- Organizational skills, event organization experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
- Skilled in formal and non-formal writing
- Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
- Spanish Bilingual a plus
- Ability to work in a lean, fast pace, flexible, proactive, result oriented organization.
