QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking for a passionate and dynamic hospitality professionals for the newly opened Allium Villas Resort in the area of Yalikavak, who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of guest service and provide creative solutions to all our guests, internal and external.

The ideal candidate must be available as soon as possible, and is to be a dynamic and confident person, with a passion for excellence!

This role will have a high level of interaction with all levels throughout the business and therefore requires a professional approach with excellent communication skills in English, Turkish, and possibly Russian. Excellent organizational skills are necessary, as well as being able to work as a team, have good attention to detail, and impeccable social skills.

As Sales & Marketing Manager you will be offered a competitive salary, and report directly to the General Manager.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis of local market trends and competitor activities to identify business leads
  • Develop customer accounts and travel within the feeder markets to drive business into the hotel with the objective to increase market share in all revenue streams
  • Negotiate room rates and packages with accounts
  • Develop and implement creative marketing channels, including social media channels
  • Prepare contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
  • Work within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunities
  • Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
  • Attend Sales events, as required
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the General Manager to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads, but also the compiling of month end reports for the sales department
  • Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
  • Manage staff performance in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Recruit, manage, train and develop the Sales team
  • Monitor sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage and sales priorities as necessary to achieve planned goals
  • Plan, establish goals and administer Sales Office function to deliver qualified leads and service existing accounts
  • Develop active communication and close rapport with local authorities such as tourism board, convention bureau, airlines, Absheron Hotels Group sales network and other sources of sales information and support
  • Assess group business to maximize contribution from available rooms in shoulder season
  • Develop annual sales department budget and execute the sales programs and activities within it
  • Follow up the revenue targets and put the necessary sales strategies accordingly
  • Identify sources of individual business and allocate the resources to develop relationships with them
  • Ensure understanding of position requirements, goals and standards of performance of the sales department

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in same or similar role
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and working with MAC
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Exceptional command of English, Turkish and preferably also Russian. All languages in spoken and written form
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Meticulous and thorough nature
  • Must be a “finisher” with the ability to drive solutions
  • Have a broad business understanding with ability to focus on key guest requirements
  • Able to take responsibility and influence outcomes
  • Possess a drive for results
  • Knowledge of the local market & hospitality
