Your competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor/Master or Diploma degree with clear affinity to operations
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an international manufacturing company, preferably in plastic packaging
• Proven track of Leadership experience
• Deep understanding of cost calculation and performance metrics
• Professionalism and dedication to excellence in customer care
• Ability to work independently and with tight deadlines
• Willingness to travel and to live abroad for a longer period of time
• Proficiency in English; other languages are of advantage

Your responsibilities

• You are in charge of the overall operational performance of one of our production plants
• You ensure optimization and continuous improvement of all operational processes according to the global ALPLA standards; "operational excellence" is the ultimate goal
• You are responsible for budgeting and KPI planning, especially in terms of capacity, investment and resource planning
• You ensure optimum customer support and optimization of the supply chain
• You perform in compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards
• You create a transparent operational organization and are responsible for the development of your team
