Summary of the Role :

This position is about managing medium/large implementation projects, coordinating activities from various areas like R&D, other implementation teams or infrastructure from several Amadeus sites (worldwide). Ensure customer deliveries, activities and risks impacting projects success are properly tracked, raised and managed appropriately.

In this role you'll find a chance to;

• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Ensure management of project controls: Risks, issues or dependencies
• Effectively apply the Amadeus project management methodology and enforces project standards
• Ensure projects are managed to budget, time and quality and that they deliver the expected functionality contracted by the customer.
• Meeting Management: Steering Committee and Weekly Status meetings with customers and Project Status Meetings with internal teams
• Documentation and reporting: Detailed planning, cost control, scope management, reporting, risk, and actions items management, cutover planning and execution repot
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
• Minimize exposure and risk on project. Communication with stakeholders both internal and external on due time, propose mitigations

Additional responsibilities:

·       Recommend process, product and/or service improvements based on understanding and anticipation of internal and external business challenges 

·       Autonomously solves unique and complex problems that have broad impact on the business

·       Feel accountable and be autonomous in project management activities, requesting guidance from Senior management when appropriate

About Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, M.Sc is preferred
• Very good written and oral English communication skills
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management
• Agile and SAFe methodology experience are pluses
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to drive teams and take ownership
• Comfortable in a multi-cultural, international organization
• No overseas travel restrictions
