Summary of the Role:

In the QA Engineer role, you’ll be a member of the Digital Unit in Turkey. You’ll collaborate on the strategy definition of the Software Development; technological framework and functional approach in an Agile Environment. 

In this role, you’ll find a chance to:

Implement a test plan

Define test cases from customer’s requirements and ensure traceability with specifications

Write test plan (functional and/or non-functional and/or non-regression)

Ensure improvement of non-regression test repository in the Change Request plan

Design and perform tests

Design/Write test cases.

Develop automation scripts (UI, API).

Prepare test environment, test data, and execute test cases

Prepare test execution report

Give go/no-go for the customer’s test campaign

Be responsible for the project, product or release quality control

Problem Tracking Records

Provide information to developers to fix defects

Check PTR fix and give go/no-go for the load of Production PTRs

Document software defects

Share your knowledge

Participate in specification reviews to give input on testing requirements

Report and communicate on test activities to the line organization, software developers and product definitions analysts

Strong sense of responsibility for company assets, be proactive against security vulnerabilities and breaches.

About Ideal Candidate:

To succeed in this position, QA Engineer role requires you to have relevant experience in the following areas;

2+ years of experience in testing software applications (web or mobile or rest API).

Knowing black box testing techniques and web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript).

Hands-on experience in scripting with proven automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Protractor is a plus).

Experience in API testing (Rest, SOAP) with proven tools (e.g. SoapUI, Postman)

Using and maintaining testware

ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced Level) is a plus

Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Ability to interact and communicate successfully with business partners and technology teams
