Amadeus Turkey is the market leader in Airline Loyalty & CRM solutions  and  Internet Booking Enginer provider and we’re looking for candidates with different levels of  experience as a Software Development Engineer based in İstanbul Yeşilköy Office. 

Relevant experience developing software in particular in the following areas:

o  Oracle, PL/SQL

o  Java and Object Oriented Programming

o  Java EE applications server, Tomcat experience

o  Knowledge of Java Server Faces (JSF) or Prime Faces experience

o  Knowledge of Spring MVC concept

o  Knowledge of JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular.js, Node.js is a plus

o  Knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus

 Abilities and skills:

o  Investigate new technologies, learn new methods and innovation

o  Subject matter expert on knowledge of the complete software development lifecycle

o  Advanced level of written and oral English communication skills

o  Knowledge of travel industry is a plus

o  Strong team player with collaborative mindset

o  Comfortable in a multi-cultural, international organization

o  Proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude

o  No overseas travel restrictions 

 

1- Software development

o  Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions

o  Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies

o  Model, design and implement databases as necessary

o  Write and conduct unit, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with agile principles and Amadeus standards

o  Collaborate in the validation / acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalize the product

o  Produce software documentation necessary for the application

o  Support the stakeholders in Production

o  Improves software development by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures

 

2-  Solution support

o  Support the stakeholders in the Production phase by debugging existing software solutions in response to Problem Tracking Records (PTR) and Change Requests (CR) issued from Product Management or Product Definition

o  Work on complex problems using methodological approach to identify problem patterns, root causes, and provide a short and long term solutions based on the priority assessments.

o  Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions for PTR / CR assigned

o  Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies for PTR / CR assigned

o  Model, design and implement databases as necessary for PTR / CR assigned

o  Write and conduct unit, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines for PTR / CR assigned

o  Produce software documentation necessary for the application for PTR / CR assigned

o  Improves technical support by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures

o  During implementation, ensure data security by applying Amadeus policies while handling sensitive data

3-  Internal Policies and Procedures

o  Ensure the internal process and procedures are executed properly

o  Strong sense of responsibility for company assets be proactive against security vulnerabilities and breaches.

o  Support Manager for preparing materials and reporting related to software development
