Job Vacancy: Production Manager

Amana foods-Turkey is looking to hire Production Manager.

The role of the Production Manager is to effectively coordinate the activities of the production to ensure effective execution of the weekly production schedule. Additionally, this position ensures the effective utilization of resources including staffing, equipment, and materials.

Job Roles:

Ensure a safe work environment for employees and ensure that safe work practices are utilized

Ensure the adherence to proper quality standards and procedures

Routine follow ups to ensure quality standards are maintained

Tour plant daily to ensure housekeeping and GMP standards are being adhered to

Take initiatives that drive continuous improvement regarding line efficiency

Conduct daily line performance review meetings with representatives from all departments

Prioritize maintenance work orders in conjunction with the assistant maintenance manager

Support team meetings that will address issues that affect line performance

Maintain a harmonious relationship with other functions within the facility

Review performance results of production lines

Ensure production is scheduled daily to avoid out of stock situations

Resolve any issues regarding consumer complaints and customer feedback

Routinely ensure cross-functional communication within the plant in a timely manner

Coach subordinates and support training initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's

Degree in Food science.

APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred

Good knowledge of ERP systems AX Microsoft (Axapta)and basic functionality

Good knowledge of Quality systems ISO 90001, HACCAP.

Fluent in English and Turkish Language.

Sound knowledge of production planning, labor planning, standard costing and daily reporting.

Very good knowledge of lean manufacturing environments.

Work Experience:

7 - 10 years of canned

food/beverage industry experience

preferred (3) year experience in the canned meat industry

At least a total of 3 years work experience in a lean manufacturing environment, preferably in areas related to data management, operational planning, information systems, operational KPIs follow up or finance controlling.
