Regional Market Development Manager (Overseas)

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and management departments, 
• Minimum 10 years of sales and marketing experience; know-how in foreign trade regulations and practices is preferred, 
• Strong analytical, organizational, reporting and project management skills, 
• Strong cross-cultural, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, 
• Fluency in English is a must; second language is a plus, 
• No restriction to travel, 
• Strong MS Office skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To prepare and realize the strategic business plans for their region; track and be fully accountable for volume and profit performance of each country within,
• Decide on right route-to-market strategies, realize by selecting the right customer/distributor mix (including initiation and follow-up of contracts) and manage distributors and develop long-term working relationships. Conduct visits as needed,
• Manage pricing process; evaluate the whole value chain in countries; benchmark, rationalize and capture opportunities,
• Track relevant industry activities, competitors’ operations, political and economic developments in respective countries; take necessary actions if needed,
• Contribute to and actively participate in trade marketing/marketing plans and assure right execution and development of efficient sales activities including consumer promotions and trade activations; coordinate campaign deployment & digital communication,
• Recognize the customer needs and requirements as well as consumer motivations and trends then respond with appropriate solutions,
• Constantly look to improve business results, processes and capture new opportunities (including but not limited to new channels, distributors, partners, countries, portfolio mixes etc) by preparing business case/new market entry plans.
