Process Improvement-Customer Support Engineer

We are looking for a Process Improvement / Customer Technical Support Engineer 

Aperam Services & Solutions Turkey recruits a WCM / Customer Technical Support Engineer to work with production team and reporting to Plant Manager. He/she will support the business to boost our performance in one of our most strategic region.

Key stakeholders         

Customers, Internal - Employees, Local Management Team, others Services & Solutions Sites

 
Skills and qualifications     

>   BSc in mechanical, materials & metallurgy, industrial, mechatronic engineering, master degree is plus

>  Full proficiency in Turkish and English languages, French is plus

>   Advanced computer skills, especially office programs

>   Completed military service

>   Resident in Istanbul Anatolian side or Gebze

>   Driving license B

>   A successful experience of at least 3 years gained in a suitably industrial environment production and maintenance

>   Knowledge on ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001

>   Knowledge on World Class Manufacturing methods: 5S, Kaizen, 5W+2H, FMEA,  Lean Six Sigma, SMED etc.

>  Exceptional safety-oriented mindset,

>  Dynamic, hands-on, autonomous, rigorous person regarding targets and deadlines

>  Ability to influence and communicate with different players 

> Able to establish a relationship with colleagues and team work spirit

> Possessing intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team/business, especially in a multicultural and multi-location environment

>  Controlling and ensuring the continuous improvement process

> Accountable on reaching production targets regarding productivity, volumes, quality, OTD, etc

> Support machine and plant maintenance in WCM concept

> Supporting industrial projects and Innovation Projects that will lead Aperam to be ahead of the competition

> Customer technical support
