University degree in a related field,

5+ years experience in logistics sector

Good in English  (both verbal and written)

Good communication skills (both verbal and written)

Customer focused

Good PC skills (Microsoft office)

Pro-active approach

Good at teamwork and problem solving

Job Purpose* 

The position will be responsible to perform a service excellence by application of business procedures/LPs, and leading the regional initiatives and supporting APLL’s global program with key focus on the following accountabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

·         Ensure all responsible  accounts  operations are handled according to LP and UI

·         To handle day to day operation

·         Make planning according to customer Golden Rules

·         CFS Management eg: inbound –outbound processes, slot management

·         Vendor Management

·         Equipment management with SPs/ Carriers.eg arrival and departure of equipment on time

·         To issue invoices timely and accurately

·         Handle documentation eg; pre-alert and pouch

·         To send all requested reports to customers on time. 

·         To meet the required service level at lowest possible cost.

·         Close coordination with countries on new internal initiatives i.e. new                     system/application or business processes.

·         Dealing with customs clearance process

·         Analyzing trucker’s performance

·         Ensure backups are in place for all accounts.

·         Ensure any issues are correctly escalated to the customer service manager

·         Achieve operations / service excellence thru monitoring and control of Key              performance

·         Indicators (KPI)
