QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field,
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience with advanced analytics or graduation of Master’s Degree or Ph.D
- Strong knowledge of and strict adherence to statistical hypothesis testing principles
- Strong knowledge in Python, Scala or R to implement data science pipelines from data preprocessing to statistical modeling and data visualization
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL), distributed systems (Hadoop) and cloud environments
- Knowledge of software engineering principles and practices from version control to documentation
- Having research experience in an emphasis on Statistics, machine learning, computer vision or numerical analysis is a plus
- Having software development experience in following DevOps practices is a plus
- Strong knowledge of to write efficient algorithms in C/C++/Java for projects with a low-latency requirement is a plus

- Transforming data into actionable business insights using advanced analytics methods
- Building data products to improve data-driven decision making processes across the global organization of Arçelik
- Using machine learning and AI methods to discover novel ways to delight our customers and optimize our operations in a wide array of areas including production, after-sales support and marketing analytics.
- Working with data engineers, digital production experts and business stakeholders to develop globally scalable solutions that provide significant business value
- Being an advocate of value creation with data in our global organization and proactively seek out areas of impact
