• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, (Master Degree and/or Ph.D. is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics,
• Having Thermal System background such as Thermodynamics and/or Fluid Dynamics,
• Having experience on Heat & Mass transfer and System & Component Design & Optimization,
• Strong knowledge of vapor compression cooling cycle and refrigeration systems,
• Minimum 1 years of experience in household refrigeration systems,
• Having experience in standard and non-standard refrigerator/freezer performance tests,
• Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics is a plus,
• Knowledge of refrigeration components and manufacturing processes,
• Modeling and simulation of cooling systems is a plus,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Thinking broadly about business,
• Having the desire to do outstanding jobs,

The position is located in Eskişehir.


Arçelik A.Ş. is looking for an Engineer – R&D (Cooling System Verification) who will work for Refrigerator Product Directorate.

 

• Analyzing refrigerator thermal design, both system-wise and component-wise
• Evaluating design alternatives based on quality and reliability
• Developing test setups and obtain test data for model validation when necessary.
• Planning of related tests in the laboratory,
• Preparing test units and executing the tests according to standards and internal guidelines, creating new test specifications
• Monitoring and evaluating the state of the art cooling systems
• Working on FMEA analysis of refrigerator projects.
