QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Departments or equivalent education (Logistics or Supply Chain disciplines are plus),
- 4-6 years of experience in the logistics industry, e-commerce related or in a similar role managing multiple logistics service providers in a multi-carrier environment,
- Being able to manage competing priorities and provide a high level of responsiveness across multiple stakeholders and multiple demands,
- In-depth understanding of Supply Chain processes including Domestic Transportation and e-Commerce,
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail,
- Being able to collaborate with different functional teams across the organization,
- Being able to adapt in a start-up environment experiencing significant growth,
- Pro-active, willing-to-learn attitude and “roll up sleeves” to accomplish all necessary tasks,
- Following and adopting the market trends and new Technologies,
- Outside the box thinking ability,

The position is located in Gebze.
How will you foster the change?
Arçelik is looking for a passionate Engineer-Warehouse who will join our team at Supply Chain Transformation Directorate.
- Developing and maintaining Holiday/Peak/non-Peak season operational plans with 3PL’s to maximize capacity needs and to ensure on-time performance,
- Monitoring and managing freight as well as multiple logistics 3PL partners’ performance for shipping, brokerage, domestic distribution under e-commerce,
- Resolving shipping and distribution related issues and provide feedback with systematic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Actions - Preventive Actions (CAPA) Plan,
- Providing guidance to other functions (such as marketing) on logistics e-commerce related matters to enhance efficiency of operations (e.g. distribution of sales materials),
- Analysing areas of e-commerce logistics for network optimization and cost efficiency for both Align and customer,
- Proactively identifying outbound transportation cost savings opportunities (e.g. routing of split shipments, , accessorial spend review) and work with cross-functional partner to accomplish,
- Developing and maintaining security of supply chain in WH and transportation processes,
- Searching and developing new methods for ergonomic work stations in the Warehouse.
