QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
How do we describe the perfect fit?
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering,
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering, Construction Engineering, Design Engineering, Industrial Design in overseas universities,
- Postgraduate degree preferable in the fields of product design or mechanical design,
- Minimum 10 years or over experience in CAD, Design, or Product Development processes related to design (Product design, product engineering, implementation, manufacturing etc.),
- Preferably knowledge about structural design and product development process,
- Being highly motivated and enthusiastic to convey the design experiences to designers under the roof of Arçelik Design Academy, having a desire to develop new methods, to find candidates or collaborations to provide continuity of the CTP Program and Design Academy,
- No restriction for domestic/international travel,
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs,
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
- Following and adapting the market trends and new technologies,
- Outside the box thinking ability,
- Open to innovation culture,
- Flexible and open to new perspectives,
- A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,
- Knowing what empathy really means,
- Being open to communications is always our priority.
The position is located in Çayırova.
How will you foster the challenge?
We are looking for a passionate Senior Specialist or Technical Leader Product Design Expert who will join our team at Design Tools & Prototyping team.
- Carrying the company-wide flag in the Product Design field and carry the leadership of developments of new tools/processes to all Arçelik Global Designers with a high vision and passion
- Taking an active role in improving the design capabilities of the company throughout new projects and collaborations with a global vision & experience in CAD, design, and product development
- Taking the leadership of CTP (CAD Tools and Process) Program throughout the whole Arçelik company and ensure coordination between Design Tools Team and other design teams
- Being responsible for the integration of new design tools and engineering competencies to design processes
- Leading the assessment and development projects of Arçelik’s design teams in terms of CAD and design skills
- Taking an active and pioneer role in the expansion of Arcelik Design Academy
- Making a significant contribution to designers in Arçelik with personal experience
- Presenting and sharing useful information across departments and functions.
