How do we describe the perfect match?

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master Degree is a plus),
  
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, and heat & mass transfer,
• Knowledge and experience on the design and optimization of thermal systems and components, vapor compression cooling and heat-pump systems,
• Having experience in air conditioning systems and heat exchanger design and simulation,
• Having interest in modeling and simulation of cooling cycles & heat pump systems,
• Knowledge and experience on the air conditioner market needs and competition position,
• Having desire to do both experimental and numerical R&D work with a continuously learning and developing manner,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Following and adapting the market trends and new technologies,
• Outside the box thinking ability,
• Open to innovation culture,
• Flexible and open to new perspectives,
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,

What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Senior Specialist Engineer - R&D (Thermodynamics & System Based Modelling) who will join us at Research and Development Directorate.

• Working in the projects related with air-conditioning heat-pump system design, improving the system performance and energy efficiency of heat-pump systems,
• Generating knowledge on market demands for air conditioners and related components, and sharing with the development team,
• Conducting experimental and aligned numerical studies to investigate the thermal system characteristics and effects on the thermal performance and efficiency of air-conditioning heat-pump systems, efficiency of their components and sub-systems,
• Analyzing experimental and numerical results to develop the related heat-pump system and components designs,
• Developing alternative cooling and/or heat-pump system designs and algorithms to improve the thermal performance and energy efficiency of products in various operation conditions,
• Designing and defining alternative components for cost optimization,
• Following/learning and developing related tests standards,
• Evaluating the air conditioning systems’ performance, multi-optimization based on system performance, energy efficiency, and cost,
• Analyse the technical patents and technical parameters of competing air conditioners,
• Technical review based on Manufacturing product samples, testing, quality and product reviews,
• Reporting, presenting, and sharing outcomes of the R&D project studies across departments and functions.

The position is located in İstanbul, Çayırova.
