Accounting-Finance Specialist

We are looking for an Accounting-Finance Specialist teammate to work in the Financial Affairs Department of the Turkey operation of a leading global chemical company in Gebze. The person we are looking for is part of a core team, taking part in the following subjects; Will support the team:

Monitoring the current accounts of customers and sellers, making reconciliations,

Accounting of bank movements, making reconciliations,

Recording of domestic and international purchase and expense invoices,

Execution of daily bank transactions and relations,

Tax office, SSI etc. follow-up of business and transactions in public institutions,

Taking part in VAT refund processes,

Preparation of reports and documents required for audits,

Performing the work to be given when necessary in all other matters in the field of accounting, finance and reporting.

Qualifications we are looking for in candidates:

Graduated from related departments of universities (Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Economics, etc.),

Fluent in English (Definitely sought after as who will attend the meetings abroad),

Adopted teamwork, constructive human relations, energetic and disciplined,

Those who want to improve themselves in the field of Accounting and Financial Affairs,

Proficient in accounting and uniform chart of accounts,

Able to use MS Office programs,

Able to adapt to flexible and intense working tempo when necessary,

Residing in the Anatolian side of Istanbul or in Gebze-Kocaeli,

Male candidates must have completed military service,

Preferably able to use SAP program,

Preferably with SMMM license.
