Method Engineer

We are looking for a Method Engineer, having the following qualifications to be employed in our company.

 GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering,
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in conducting process  and time analyses,
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing (tools/ principles /implementation),
• Excellent command of English (verbal and written),
• Creative, analytical thinking, result oriented,
• Having good communication skills with a leadership approach,
• Problem solving skills with a proactive approach
• Ability to gather and analyze data, set priorities, and meet deadlines,
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Position requires providing support to a variety of departments and levels within the organization,
• Proficiency in MS Office,
• Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD 2D or 3D is an advantage,
• No military service restriction for male candidates,
• Locating in or willing to relocate to Bandırma or Gönen

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Conducting process, work and time studies, in order to determine standard manufacturing times,
• Defining and analyzing standard production cycle time, labor capacity and lead time (benchmark & standardization),
• Leading VSM and MIFD to identify best process strategies to reduce the non-value added activities,
• Improving lay-out and the industrial efficiency of the production shop floor activities(compliance of processes to safety, quality, on time delivery, productivity, cost and labor organization objectives through gap analysis of existing practice, methods, process parameters, equipment layouts and features and further assessments, developments and implementation of more effective ones) by analyzing MTM studies and best practice,
• Continuously improving the standard times accuracy of manufacturing steps by following the plan vs actual realizations on the shop floor,
• Leading OPEX projects by using Lean tools (WPO, 5S, Kaizen, ect.),
• Collaborating with Production, Quality, Engineering & Design functions for all kinds of activities of process & method implementation and development on new projects and products,
• Supporting the preparation of the supply and inventory planning inputs for capacity scenarios,
• Supporting investment projects,

Preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports.
