You will:

• Collect, analyze and summarize account information and manage bookkeeping and other accounting operations based on Turkish GAAP;
• Lead daily finance operations (daily payment list, bank transactions etc);
• Conduct monthly and yearly accounting closing process in a deadline driven environment;
• Participate monthly tax computing & and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.;
• Be responsible for conducting monthly legal notices (ETBIS, BA/BS etc);
• Publish trial balances and legal financial statements in timely manner;
• Manage and improve customer invoice issuing process;
• Closely work with customer operations team and assist them in various process (refunding, customer balances etc);
• Actively participate improving the current accounting process;
• Develop periodic reports for management;
• Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups;
• Keep up with financial policy regulation and legislation changes;
• Help restructuring the international tax structure.

You have:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in a related area from a top university;
• Fluency in Turkish & English;
• 4+ year of professional experience in an Accounting Department or Tax/Outsourcing Departments in service sector companies;
• Good knowledge of Turkish Tax Code and Turkish Chart of Accounts;
• Good knowledge of MS Office;
• Excellent accounting software user (Logo knowledge is preffered);
• Preferably have a CPA certificate;
• Preferably knowledge/experience in various incentive legislation (R&D, social security, etc.).
